Sayonara Colorado

Since Sunday was our last day in beautiful Colorado we kept things simple and easy. Because I had worn jeans 2 days in a row I changed things up and wore my trusty striped dress. Comfortable enough for walking around and travel but presentable enough to make home visits.
After packing up and checking out the clan and I headed over to Dempsey’s for brunch and man oh man was it yummy. I had the most amazing eggs benedicts I’ve ever had in my life, definitely a place to returnto the next time we make it out there. We then went to visit some old friendsof K’s grandparents; although they were old, boy did they have some great memory recollection!
As we headed to the airport that afternoon I got a little sad, I absolutely had a fabulous time in Colorado. It was such a great family weekend that I didn’t want it to end. Luckily hubby and I have already decided on doing another weekend trip sometime next Spring. Yay for plans!
