[Review] Jason Wu for Target

The hype is growing around the Jason Wu for Target line set out to launch on February 5th and yesterday my curiosity finally got the best of me. As I, among others, got the link to Target’s Facebook page via Twitter, I admired the sneak peek into the polished, ladylike-with an edge collection.

Typically I’m hesitant to Target/designer collaborations. Something about my expectations and the actualization’s are very underwhelming. And the crowds, oh the crowds. Can anyone say disaster zone. Count me out. However from what I’ve seen on the interweb, this designer collaboration has promise. But what else can I expect from 2008’s Fashion Group International’s Rising Star award winner.

Wu’s collection for Target exudes femininity and such grace, that either the photography is impeccable or there’s actually a chance for this collection to be as spectacular as we all assume. Each piece looks delicate and perfectly made for a woman’s body, something Jason Wu has always been known for.

So when the collection launches on Feb.5th, will you be there with the thousands of other eager hopefuls, itching to get a piece of the Wu action? I sure as heck will be;)
