Real Retro

Something about this ensemble screams Betty Draper to me, with a modern twist of course. The quintessential polka dots that were a staple back in the 1960s are easily replaced with a more abstract patter; the pin tight up-do of the obedient housewife is down and loose for a more urban feel; and the classic muted tones of the past are substituted with a bright pop of color. Ok, maybe less Betty Draper and more me but you catch my drift.

Happy no pants Tuesday my friends! This outfit is a total blast from the past with the full skirt, the synched waist and the overt femininity, don’t you think?
