Fall State of Mind

If you can’t tell by this outfit, I’m in a Fall state of mind. I’m ready for jewel tones, knit sweaters and boots; completely over pastels, sandals and bare arms. Mind you, there is still a while before Fall hits Arizona – I’m talking at least 3 months.Depressing for someone who’s already started working on her Fall wardrobe. I made some key purchase at H&M last week and plan on incorporating the Fall pieces into my Summer wardrobe. What are transition pieces for but to bridge the gap between the seasons, am I right?

These pants are one of those ‘transition’ items.I’m in love with the color and can’t wait to pair them with other jewel tone pieces. I tried to resemble Summer by incorporating both a sleeveless shirt and trench, however there’s no denying the fact that there is a Fall vibe going on with this look. Oh well, you can’t win the mall.

I wore this ensemble on Thursday for dinner and drinks with fellow Phoenix bloggers Katie, Ashley and Sarah. We met up at The Mission in Scottsdale, a modern Latin cuisine restaurant where the drinks are toxic and the tacos are finger lickin’ good! It was such a great time to catch up and chat about the blogosphere, fashion and out lives. Hope to meet up with them in the future!
