Not So Mellow Yellow
If you caught the Emmy’s this past Sunday, then you might have noticed a trend. While there were many emeralds and burgundy gowns being posed down the red carpet, yellow had its moment in the sun (no pun intended) and was the IT color of the evening (evidence here, here and here). I thought it was only natural for me to sport the color but kept things simple and understated for a Monday at the office. Pulled back, low bun – check! A dash of animal print – check! Bold statement pants – check! Now if only I had a red carpet to walk down.
