Embellishe​d

There are times when an embellished, jacquard collar just makes everything right in the world, and I’d like to pretend this particular top can do just that. After having an emotionally draining couple of days months, I think/hope that a great outfit can cure a sad mood. Following what seems like months of applying to countless jobs, I’ve had no success and my spirit is starting to feel the rejection. But don’t fret, I’m really trying to not let my negativity and my glumness out on FabAve.

My Two Cents

I don’t have much to say about this ensemble except that I really like the color combination of pink and green together. I wore it to support blogger friend Katie of Running on Happiness at the Chandler Mall Top Shop event this past weekend. I might have walked away with a cute shirt, or two but that’s neither here nor there. So I’ll leave you with those groundbreaking observations and hope that you exercised your right to vote either today or during the early voting period. Whether a Democrat, Republican or Independent, as American’s we have the responsibility and privilege to elect our Nation’s President, so don’t throw away that freedom.

Currently Craving: Shoe Therapy

If you’ve followed along for the almost year I’ve been blogging, then you’ve noticed that my style has changed. But that’s natural, fashion is the ever evolving art of expression and as both fashion and I change, so will my style. However something that seems to stay the same is my aversion to heels. I can’t walk in them and I totally value my comfort over how ‘fierce’ I may look. That, my friends, will never change. With that said, I.LOVE.WEDGES! They add that same pop of style that heels do, without sacrificing comfort. Which brings me to today’s Currently Craving post: Wedges.

BTW- I’m a size 8;)
