Open Letter to Fall

Dear Fall,
First off, I would like to say that I’ve missed you. You’ve been gone for far too long and you left without saying goodbye. I know I know,I left you. I’m so sorry it had to be so sudden. Our rendezvous in Virginia was quite lovely while it lasted but the move across the county was a sudden decision. So, my sincerest apologies.
I was wondering, can you make an early appearance in Arizona? Better yet, can you make an appearance? You’re usually a hit it and quit it type of season in these parts and I would really appreciate some breezy love in the months to come. Just enough for the need of a cardigan and a pair of tights. I’m really not asking for much, am I? I promise to embrace the love that you’re willing to offer. I won’t shut you out this time. Pinky promise.
