When I saw that the camo trend would be making a comeback this season I was thrilled. It’s edgy, it’s chic and like leopard print, it’s an excellent neutral. After receiving the coveted Gap shift dress in the mail and realizing it didn’t fit, I headed to my local Gap to make a swap. Well they didn’t have my size, so I decided an exchange was in order and these camo pants were at the top of my list.

P.S. Don’t you just love how fitting the posts’ title is to my outfit and my name? Sometimes it just works;)

Let’s Play Pretend

I might have woken up yesterday with the mindset that I was attending the IFB Conference. This outfit is probably something that I would have worn on day 1 of the blogger-filled symposium. Some florals, metallic’s, a collar and a little edge with the addition of the anorak jacket. And of course flats for good measure. Sorry, I’m more of a comfort over pain girl myself.

Lately I’ve been gravitating towards more edgy and masculine pieces. A structured blazer, a great pant suit, I’ve even considered styling up a look with a man’s tie. Yeah, I don’t know what’s gotten in to me either. This jacket is one you’ll see a lot around FabAve. I love how it works against the more feminine details of this outfit.

Ok, time to get back to pretending that I’m in the busy streets of NYC…

Ladies Night
