Dip Dyed

Let me start off by saying that there is something to be said about finding clothing at Charming Charlie’s. This tunic is a recent Charming Charlie’s acquisition and man oh man am I in love! The delicate lace, the oversized fit perfect for my bump (and after!), and the beautiful dip dyed trim had me at hello. I obviously couldn’t leave the store without it. Very reminiscent of this Free People stunner but for less! Score!

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend! Did anyone do anything fun?

The Perfect Dress

There are few truths in this world but I’m sure fashionistas everywhere can agree that finding the perfect dress is one of them. For some it may be easy to find a dress that fits like a glove, for others it may be the way a dress makes you feel that has you sold, but to get the ideal combination of finding both features in one frock can be like finding a diamond in the rough.

This dress is dare I say it, the perfect dress. I’m disappointed in myself for not appreciating her nearly enough. She’s only been worn twice (TWICE) and each time I’ve blogged about how amazing she is (here and here), put here away in my closet until I see her again almost a year later. Such utter disregard for her feelings. Okay, I will now stop talking to my clothes as if they are living, breathing people with actual feelings…

Mood Lifter

It’s strange to wake up on a Monday morning and feel happy and ready for the day. Well, at least for me. With pregnancy fatigue, the feeling of doom when faced with a packed work day, and an overall feeling of anxiety a smile in the morning is a rarity. However I had this tunic to look forward to; I knew I would be wearing it on Monday as a way to cheer myself up. With the pretty color and the summery fabric this tunic is just the perfect mood lifter, don’t you think?

Double Duty

During the last couple of weeks I’ve mentioned countless times that my closet is slowly shrinking while my belly is quickly growing. I’ve had to resort to improvisation and playing around with my existing wardrobe instead of going out and purchasing new items. This ‘tunic’ isn’t really a tunic but a risqué dress I already owned (last worn here and here). It was the perfect little number for a classic date night of dinner and a movie with the fella this past Saturday. This is double duty at its finest, my friends!
