Midwestern Cutie

And last but certainly not least, Saturday’s ‘borrowed’ outfit is from Kelsey by way of Snappy Casual. I adore Kelsey’s style, very relaxed chic. I soo hope I’m making her proud with this one. The pop of color, the diy necklace? LOVE! I’ve never met this gal but I think we would hit it off, she seems so very quirky and down to earth! Her carefree, spiritual, fun loving attitude resonates through her posts and that’s the kind of person you just want to get to know.

On Me: Tank and Cardigan: Target, Pants: Delias, Necklace: F21, Wedges: DSW

On Kelsey: Tank and Cardigan: American Apparel, Necklace: DIY, Belt: American Eagle, Pants: Vans, Shoes: Target

Also check out her family blog, words of williams.

Hope you enjoyed the self-given challenge as much as I did! Want to see the other stolen outfit inspirations from the past week? Click here for the play by play.

Southern Comfort

Today I’m ripping off Keira of A Pretty Penny. Now, Keira was my first blogger crush. The ultimate southern bell, I absolutely admire her sense of style and confidence. She must be the sweetest florist in town. I love that she dresses for comfort but still manages to look like a million bucks. Oh, and I totally love her hair!

On Me: Tank and Braided Belt: F21, Scarf: Delias, Jeans: TJ Maxx, Jessica Simpson Wedges: DSW, Earrings: DC street vendor

On Keira: Tunic: Sunny Leigh, Scarf: Khol’s, Jeans: White House Black Market, Belt: Nine West, Seychelles Sandals: Marshall’s

You better not think that this is the last of my self-given challeng. Stay tuned tomorrow for the last but certainly not least blogger inspiration! Any guesses?

Man, I feel like a Woman

Today’s look is on loan from Kendi via Kendi Everyday. Oh so cute and comfortable, I absolutely love this outfit! I fell in love with this look and just had to replicate. The casualness and the femininity are such classics. Kendi always seems to pull off girly outfits without looking like she put any effort. Jealous!

On Me: Converse Button-Up: Target, Pleated Skirt: Forever21, Jessica Simpson Wedges: DSW

On Kendi: Button-up: Anthro, Skirt: c/o Lulu’s, Bag: Gift, Shoes: c/o Payless

Did you follow my journey through my first 30 for 30 remix challenge? Well, Kendi is the mastermind behind it all so stay tuned to her blog for an update on the Fall remix if you’d like to join!

Feminine Mystique

Today’s inspiration was stolen from Kate by means of her blog O My Heart. Now, this blog is my most recent find and you want to know a secret, I’m obsessed. Geeze this girl has some sass! And those gams, they go on for days. I love that she has a fearless attitude when it comes to fashion. She’s not afraid to show a little skin all while sporting ladylike duds like the one pictured here but of course, with a little flair. Hope I pulled it off!

On Me: Shirt: Target, Skirt: Thrifted, Steve Madden Oxfords: DSW, Necklace: F21

On Kate: Shirt and Necklace: Joe Fresh, Skirt: BB Dakota, Bracelet: H&M, Ring: Je Suis Prest, Shoes: Old Navy

Vintage Vixen

Today’s muse would have to be the one and only Jessica Quirk of What I Wore. Now, this style maven doesn’t only live and breathe fashion but she also just came out with a personal style book: What I Wore: Four Seaseon, One Closet, Endless Recipes for Personal Style, which I’m thinking of picking up soon. I love her retro inspired outfits and had to replicate this iconic look. The pleats, the stripes, the color, I love it all!

On Me: Jean Jacket: LVLX, Tube Top: Rue21, Sunnies: Thrifted, Pleated Skirt: Asos, Wedges: Payless

On Jessica: Shirt: St. James c/o Madewell, Skirt: Zara, Shoes: House of Harlow, Watch: Timex, Sunnies: Fred Flare

Side note: I want to give special thanks to Sara from Farpitzs fo the skirt suggestion!

Living on the Edge

On me: Floral Dress: Target, Belt: Burlington Coat Factory, Steve Madden Shoes: DSW, Frames: Forever21

On Kim: dress: c/o jupe boutique, custom harness: clydes rebirth, glasses: c/o warby parker, shoes: zara, bag: anthropologie

I’m starting off my self-given wardrobe challenge with the one and only Kim of Eat.Sleep.Wear. She manages to pull off nerdy rocker effortlessly. I’m in love with all of her frames, all prescriptions and all chic. While mine might not be prescription lenses I had to pay homage to her iconic staple. I love this ensemble because its edgy yet oh so girly. I feel like I could kick some major butt then do a cartwheel!

Stay tuned this week for my other favorite looks/bloggers!

Steal from the Best and Make it your Own…

Steal from the best and make it your own. Have you ever heard that saying? I first heard it from an episode of America’s Next Top Model. Well, It’s always been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? With the 30 for 30 challenge over I thought I would give myself something to do.

(Wearing Top and Tribal Necklace: Forever21, Jeans: TJ Maxx, Espadrill Wedges: Target)

This week I’m going to try and pull off some of my favorite outfits from some of my favorite bloggers. I’m going to put my spin and personality on each ensemble and rock these looks to the best of my ability. I probably won’t style the outfit to the tee but the inspiration and concept will be there. Hope I make them proud!

Now, are you wondering who I will be stealing looks from? Well I guess you will have to wait and see!
